This is for people who want to work with there Relience Netconnect using Huawei USB CDMA modem on MAC OSX [Tiger]
Download the drivers here.
Disconnect the device from your computer.
Install the drivers depending upon your processor [Intel or PPC] .
[ I am not including pics for driver installation hope u can do it just next >>next >>agree >>password authenticate and finish as simple as that]
Connect the Huawei device.
The computer detects the device.
Click system preferences got network and then select Huawei and enter the details ie phone number [#777 for India] username and password [ur phone number for the modem] and you are done

I recently bought a EC325 Huawei data card from Reliance and have installed the drivers as given above from the Hutch Thailand Site
I have a MAcbook 10.5.1
Initially the drivers got installed properly and i was able to see the huwaei mobile connect in my OS and at that time my connection was not activated
After activating my connection i connected it and tried but i couldnt connect
So i decided to remove the existing one and reinstall the drivers from the beginning but i am facing a problem here
I dont see the Huawei mobile connect configured when i connect my data card after installing the drivers given above successfully
Can you please let me know how to remove the drivers and reinstall them so that i can see the Huawei mobile connect when i reinstall the drivers
Please let me know if i am missing something here
Any help would be greatly appreciated

locate and delete the files. and if that doesnt work just reinstall once more… and see if it works.
well same happened with me and i reinstalled the drivers..
and it worked for me…
make sure the driver u install is correct and is for intel processor. U might by mistake have installed the powerpc version.

I have unzipped the drivers i have downloaded from the link above.
There were two of them and i have installed both of the packages and they install properly
After installing them when i connect the usb modem
nothing happens
Should i go through any procedure for the USB Modem to be detected
If yes, please let me know how to do that
If i need to uninstall the drivers that are already installed how can i do that
Answer to any of the above two Q`s will help me a TON

I bought Reliance data card EC 325 couple of days ago – i have installed and started using it successfully. But yesterday suddenly i got error like “Connection could not be established with your remote server – you need make changes in Network settings…”. I’ve double checked the datacard and it working fine, because i can make calls to mobile. I tried and check my IP address, but there is no ip found in my machine. i’m struggling to resolve this issue.
My TP configuration : Windows XP on IBM T60

मैंने ड्राईवर डाउनलोड कर लिया. वह मेनू बार में दिखा भी रहा है लेकिन काम नहीं कर रहा. एकाउण्ट नंबर की जगह टेलीफोन नंबर रहेगा और पासवर्ड में भी टेलीफोन नंबर रहेगा यह तो पता है लेकिन आईएसपी नंबर में क्या लिखना है यह भी बताते तो अच्छा रहता.
रिलायंसवाले साथ में एक कोड देते हैं जिसे *२२८ डायल करने के बाद डालना होता है. अब यह *२२८ कहां डायल करें
थोड़ा और विस्तार से जानकारी देते तो उनको फायदा होता जो इस बारे में कुछ भी नहीं जानते.

Huwaei driver ver2.7 should work. I had it working for browsing however i was not able to send attachments Any suggestion for improving it would b welcome

Relience promises 155kbps which is equal to 155/8 = 19 KB ps but anything near 8 or 10 KB ps is good enough. how much do u get… and it also depends upon the signal strength..

this device is great except one problem. it use to disconnects autometically from network frequently. and worse even, it hangs what cant be fixed without re starting the station.
