Ok so I get the Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem window come up. Same thing happens randomly at a time when I go online. If I press the close button I cant select anything, which I have to restart my laptop. If I dont do anything and just leave the window there Im fine, but the window stays there. I believe this started after I scanned for viruses, and then came up with a a window saying that the virus was being quarantined.

i am unable to change the Firewall settings :

controll panal>>windows firewall>>advanced>>icmp settings
if allow incoming echo requestbox is checked then clear it

As this is disabled for me, hence I tried to restore to defaault settings but it did not work. Can you please help me.
